The computer-based interview (CBI) for DIETQ is also available as a PDA-based program to run under Microsoft PocketPC 2002 or Windows Mobile 5.0. The PDA is extremely portable and simplifies the process of interviewing subjects in clinics, wards or in their homes. The PDA can store very large numbers of questionnaire records which can then be simply transferred to the main DIETQ for analysis.

Data collected on the PDA are automatically imported into DIETQ and validated ready for analysis. This happens either when the PDA is docked into its cradle, or (if the PDA is Wi-Fi or Bluetooth enabled) when it is in communication with a PC or your network.

This allows DIETQ data collection to move to a light and convenient platform and further extends the usefulness of food frequency questionnaires beyond the confines of a PC or paper form.

Nutritional analyses results can be returned to the PDA. This means that, if you are seeing a subect on a hospital ward, in a clinic, or in their own home, you can have the results with you to show them.

PocketDIETQ is included with Nutrition Studio and can be installed on your existing PDA. A PDA can be supplied with the PocketDIETQ software pre-intstalled. The cost for this is £275 Sterling (€320).
