CARAT - Recipe Analysis for Product Labelling
Version 3 is now available. This has many new features. You can:
- Calculate nutrition information for product labels: EU, USA & Canada, in accordance with relevant food labelling regulations.
- Output nutrition information panel for front of pack
- Identify potential nutrition claims for products (EU)
- Calculate Weight Watchers® Points values for recipes
- Print label nutrition information and ingredients lists for the EU in any one of seven languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or a language of your choice. There is a help system for language translations.
- Develop recipes to defined nutrition criteria, e.g. reduced fat

RecipE-book
Many additional features:
- Display includes the nutrient contents of each recipe per serving in the FSA recomended format.This shows whether the recipe is low (green), medium (amber) or high (red) for fat, saturates, sugars and salt.
- Shows an FSA/food industry combined nutrition panel. This includes energy (kcal) content and the percentages of Guideline Daily Amounts (GDAs).
FOOD24 Developer
Now there is a Remote Data Entry system to enable 24hr recall interviews to be carried out on any computer. You can also do several 24hr recall interviews for any individual and combine them, making an intake record of several days for each individual. You can then do a range of nutrition analyses and output data to a file for statistical analyses.
