Food Intake Records
Tinuviel Software provide a documentation pack, including sample record booklets, which you can distribute to your subjects and collect the results. The documentation is then returned to us and we process the data and provide a range of outputs. These can include mean and actual daily intakes, comparisons with DRVs, percentages of energy from macronutrients, contributions to nutrients from selected food groups, etc. All outputs can be provided as hard copy or as a disk file. There is also an
option which provides you with a temporary licence for our WISP-DES data collection tool, should you wish to enter the data yourself. This service is economic for between 10 and 50 food intake records. For more information on WISP, click here

Recipe and Menu Analyses Tinuviel Software provides a range of recipe and menu analysis services. These range from the analysis of individual day menus containing a few recipes, up to 12-week menu cycles containing many hundreds of recipes. The information can be provided to us in many formats, including web-based submission of recipes/menus. To see an example recipe submission form, click here. Recipe Analyses for Food Labelling
For food manufacturers, the CARAT program provides label declaration information (nutrition per 100g and per portion, ingredient declaration including QUID, etc.) for your recipes. You submit
the recipe content, information on any specialised ingredients and optionally any nutrition data obtained by chemical analysis. We analyse the recipe and provide output in an agreed format. This service is economic from 1 to 20 recipes.

DIETQ Questionnaire Analyses
The DIETQ semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire can be used to rapidly determine mean daily intakes of a range of nutrients. Tinuviel Software provides a data collection pack, which includes a master copy of the paper questionnaire and coding instructions. You collect the data from your study population, code the answers and then return the questionnaires to us for
analysis. We return the results in about a week as either paper forms or in a disk file suitable for statistical processing. This service is economic for between 50 and 200 questionnaires.

Tinuviel Software provides a range of nutritional analysis services. We have considerable expertise in processing food intake records, recipes, menus and food intake questionnaires. For example, we have analysed in excess of 1,000 food intake records, 6,000 recipes and 15,000 food intake questionnares. Thus, you can be sure that we have the expertise you need to obtain high quality nutrition data.
Our nutrition analysis services are intended for two groups of users :
- Those who may wish to carry out only a small number of analyses, at which level purchase of a full software package might be uneconomic.
- Organisations who require to carry out analyses of recipes, menus, etc., but do not have the in-house expertise.
For example, a food manufacturer with only a few products might want to produce label declarations. Tinuviel Software can analyse the recipes, generate appropriate nutrition labelling panels and supply the results within a few days. Or, for researchers performing a dietary survey on a small number of patients, we can analyse intakes and provide results as hard copy, or in a variety of file formats. The cost of these services will be provided on request, but the economic level (compared with purchasing the software) is indicated below for each service.
All data are held in the strictest confidence. Once analyses are complete, source information is either returned or shredded, as per your instructions.
